In March, StandWithUs included COMBATING ANTISEMITISM IN HEALTHCARE, the first full-day conference offering CME credit as part of its international conference. The focus on antisemitism in healthcare marked a powerful and much-needed milestone. Bringing together leading voices from across the country, the event created space for learning, reflection, and action on one of the most urgent challenges facing the healthcare community today.
OPENING RECEPTION
We extend our sincere thanks to our partners at the American Jewish Medical Association (AJMA) for co-hosting a vibrant opening reception. The evening provided a valuable opportunity for healthcare leaders from across the nation to connect, collaborate, and build meaningful relationships.
OPENING PLENARY
The Monday morning plenary session, Building Allyship and Coalition Across the Healthcare Space, set the tone for the day, offering critical insight into the impact of antisemitism on the healthcare environment, the responsibilities of non-Jewish allies, and practical steps every healthcare professional can take to foster safer, more inclusive spaces.
Moderated by Sheri Ross, MD, the panel featured speakers including Qanta Ahmed, MD, M. Zuhdi Jasser, MD, Mihir Meghani, MD, and Jose Melendrez, MSW.
FULL DAY OF CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION CREDIT SESSIONS
Monday featured a full day of compelling presentations from leading experts addressing antisemitism in healthcare from historical, clinical, and institutional perspectives.
